September 28 marked the end of my proverbial “First 90 Days” as The Wharton School dean – a Zoom-filled first 90 days like no other. I took time to reflect on what’s transpired since my appointment and the leadership lessons I’ve learned thus far:
1. Embrace the concept of “swift trust”
2. Ask questions to inform your priorities
3. Find people who energize you & seek out time with them
4. “Wag the tail” i.e. lead the leaders
